Isha Ambani appeared in the stylish Anamika Khanna Couture and took over 20,000 hours to create.

Under this year’s “Taided for You” theme, Isha Ambani, daughter of Reliance Limited director Mukesh Ambani, made an appearance at Met Gala 2025. Wearing the masterpiece of famous designer Anamika Khanna, Isha's costumes perfectly embody the theme of the event, combining timeless elegance with modern innovation.

Her ensemble comes with an impeccable jacket with a crisp collar and a beautifully embroidered vest. The corset is decorated with intricate geometric patterns and inspired by global craftsmanship and African textiles, adding a subtle and influential nod to the subject.

Isha, wearing a dazzling diamond necklace, became the highlight of her appearance and attracted widespread attention. She tied her hair with her long round braids and chose dewy makeup to enhance the radiant look.

Clothing decorated with pearls, semi-precious stones and ancestral gems requires 20,000 hours of meticulous needlework. Many of these embellishments come from the private collection of the Ambani family, giving the ensemble a personal and luxurious style. In some photos, Isa is also found wearing a stylish white hat, adding to her unique talent.

Vogue India quoted the designer as saying, “We used some semi-precious stones, some traditional pearl pieces and drew inspiration from the black playboy style – the small elements they blended and the reasons behind their choices.” In some photos, Isa was also seen wearing a white hat.

One user commented: “She was separated.” Another said: “Absolutely killed.” Others expressed admiration, saying: “Necklace? Instagram users announced that “certainly iconic.” “Actor Alia Bhatt interjected, commenting: “Unreal”.

Looking ahead to 2024, Isha commissioned renowned designer Rahul Mishra to create a floral sari dress. The design will incorporate elements from Mishra's previous collections and include sustainability. Using techniques such as French knots, decals and embroidery styles, such as Fareesha, Zardozi, Nakshi and Dabka, the design will feature exquisite patterns of delicate flowers, butterflies and dragonflies.

The collaboration aims to convey hope for the state of the world, update and reflect on the tradition of making statements with her fashionable choices.
