Virat Kohli announced his withdrawal from Test cricket today. During his exam career, the 36-year-old made 123 appearances in white costumes with an average score of 46.85, with 210 innings scores of 30 and 3150s and 3150s and 254*.

The Indian Cricket Control Council (BCCI) and the International Cricket Council (ICC) expressed their views on Star India Batter Virat Kohli’s retirement from Test Cricket.

Kohli announced his retirement from Test cricket on Monday, marking the end of his outstanding 14-year-old career, which put him in a variety of conditions, regions and opponents dominance among white people, both as batsmen and captains.

BCCI X Official X granted their official social media processing, “Thank you, Virat Kohli! An era ends with Test Cricket, but the legacy will continue forever!

The ICC also introduced X and wrote: “White, the crown is intact. Virat Kohli said goodbye to cricket and left an unparalleled legacy.”

Earlier, Kohli landed on his Instagram handle and announced his decision to quit the game’s longest format.

“It’s been 14 years since I first wore loose blue. Honestly, I never imagined a journey in this format would take me. It has tested me, shaped me, and taught me lessons throughout my life. There is a deep personal game among white people.

“It’s not easy when I’m away from this format – but it feels good. I’ve given me everything and it gives me feedback far more than I hoped. I’m grateful for the game and walk away – sharing with me the people in this field, letting everyone I see with everyone will look back. I always look back on my tests.

During his exam career, the 36-year-old made 123 appearances in white costumes with an average score of 46.85, with 210 innings scores of 30 and 3150s and 3150s and 254*. He is India’s fourth-highest runner in format, behind only Sachin Tendulkar (15,921 runs), Rahul Dravid (13,265 runs) and Sunil Gavaskar (10,122 runs).

He made his debut in June 2011 in testing of the West Indies. Although his first Test Tour had disappointingly only 76 runs in five innings, a young Virat made a name for his severe counterattack knocks in the coming days. His rise as a Test player began with his first ton against Australia in Adelaide in 2012, when he scored 116 goals in 213 goals. On a tour, no one else could touch India’s 300 runs, as well as giants like Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman and Virender Sehwag, appearing to be shadows of their main self, Virat is the highest ranked India in India, including 300 runs in the four and 50th centuries. Between 2011 and 2015, he performed 2,994 runs in 41 Tests, an average of 44.03, with 11 centuries and 12 fifty in 72 innings.

Between 2016 and 2019, Virat was one of the strongest Test cricketers ever, running 4,208 times in 43 Tests, averaging 66.79, with a top score of 254* in 69 innings with 16 centuries and 10 50s. This also includes seven bicentury, mostly captains in cricket history.

However, the 2020s weren’t great for superstar batsmen, with only 2,028 runs in 39 Tests, an average of 30.72, only the 30th and nine fifties could be exhibited in 69 innings. His number has increased from fines in 2023, where he performed 671 runs in eight tests, an average of 55.91, two centuries and two fifty in 12 innings.

Throughout the time frame, Virat struggled with some significant weaknesses in the format, especially with delivery off the outside of the submersible line and delivery against the spinner.

Last year, he finished the game with just 382 runs in 10 Tests, an average of 22.47, with just one century and 50 in 19 innings. His last test was a trip to Australia’s border-Gavaska Trophy Tour from November to January, where he ran 190 times in 90 innings with a score of 23.75, and his century in Perth was a highlight.

That century was his first since July 2023, when he crashed into a ton of West Indies in 2023. And, his last century was at home against Australia during the Border-Gavaskar trophy in Ahmedabad.

Virat’s career is about overcoming several setbacks and bringing Indian cricket to new highs. Whether it beat a peak Australian attack led by Mitchell Johnson, including four centuries during the 2014-15 Australian Tour, and declared itself the new captain, directing India to the ICC World Test Championship, after 50 more than fifty runs in 2018, the entire 50 runs, and 134 tours, the dream-like Redemption Tour, and the entire 10th quarter of the race was played on a fair scale. In Centurion, Melbourne, Perth, Ed Buston and his own home, the 36-year-old brings many memories to fans to replay and cherish.
