Features expected by ultra-thin flagship smartphones
So, what is your price tag? The S25 Edge is a very lightweight phone with a size of 5.8mm and weighs 163 grams. This includes a 6.7-inch display, so your screen has more than the latest iPhone.
However, this pushes the thinner frame possible, which may lead to some of its power reduction. The edge has a battery capacity of 3,900 mAh, which is 100 mAh less than the 100 mAh of the smaller Galaxy S25, and is much less than you would expect in a modern phone.
Samsung believes it will offer all-day capabilities and is equipped with a 3-nanometer Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset to maximize processing within a titanium frame.
At the launch, Samsung noted that its research with customers revealed that people want a lighter phone with more features, so that’s what Edge is trying to achieve.
Of course, it has heavier features, and you can get all the latest gadgets and gadgets in the Premium S25 Ultra. In another push, the edge has a dual camera system, rather than the triple-lens system for most smartphones.
This includes a 200-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel Ultrawide with a 12-megapixel selfie camera in front.
This means there is no telephoto zoom camera, but Samsung is trying to make up for this with “optical-like” image quality with 2x zoom and improves it to 10x with AI-Enhanced Zoom. 4K 120 frames per second video recording has been pulled directly from the Ultra, which is missing from cheap Samsung phones.
With seven years of software updates, Edge also includes typical Galaxy AI features as standard, including audio erasers, generative editing, and now a brief.
