Will Anita Anand | op sindoor include horror? It’s time to avoid hatred, prejudice, fear…

On April 22, terrorist attacks occurred in popular tourist resorts in Jamu and Kashmir, killing 26 civilians traveling from all over the country. In response to the attack, India launched a missile strike last week at nine sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, a military campaign titled “Operation Sindor”.

The word “sindoor” is a vermilion word in Hindi, a red powder that marks the marital status of Indian women. It is usually worn in the separation of a woman’s hair. If she is widowed, then Sindor will be erased and will never wear it again – this is the sign of her widow.

What is the meaning of the name “Sindoor Action”? Apparently, this is against the attacks on widowed women, who are all Hindus. It was made by a woman’s media image on her honeymoon with her husband, shot dead by the attacker. In the photo, she shaking over her husband’s head, surrounded by blood. In her hair, it is the sindoor. It seems that these two reds inspired the name of the operation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi vowed to take revenge on the attack, reportedly known as “Operation” for “Operation Sindoor,” a revenge on the attacked widowed woman.

India-Pakistan hatred dates back to 1947, when two countries (once a large undivided state) were divided and divided by religion. People who once considered each other’s families and communities had to become enemies overnight. In October 1947, Pakistan occupied India in October 1947, and Jamur and Kashmir were once part of the prince’s state.

Over the years, several rounds of bilateral negotiations have proposed no solution. India regards Kashmir as an integral part of its territory and excludes any negotiations, especially through any third party. The leaders and governments of both countries failed to bring peace between them.

Two senior female officials from the armed forces briefed the media on recent events, including the execution of Operation Sindor. Most Indians were very proud of the signal that it sent. Has the glass ceiling finally been broken? Chief officials from the Army’s press come from multigenerational families of armed forces. Her parents were proud of the successful execution of Operation Sindor, saying that the Indian army has avenged our sisters and mother’s “sindoors” and that Pakistan should be eliminated.

The woman whose third husband was shot said, “I don’t want to hate anyone. People are against Muslims or Kashmiris… We don’t want this. We want peace, only peace. Of course, we want justice. Of course, those who do wrong to him should be punished.” As she drags crazy for the sentence, she quickly has to retract, as well as other things like wearing makeup on TV appearances.

A senior politician in the opposition expressed appreciation for the choice of “Operation Sindoor,” saying: “It is a very exciting emotional term that reminds people of what happened and why such action is needed, including these innocent civilians, including this young woman and other women who were widowed in the same attack, who have already experienced it.”

It is this emotion that aroused the anger of the Indians, who already felt that women need to be protected by the imperfect world created by men.

The threat of war or attack has had a fearful and exciting impact on citizens. Air raid sirens span the major northern cities. Border countries including Punjab, Gujarat and Rajasthan have taken emergency measures such as curfews and power outages, canceling leave for essential personnel. Schools were closed, exams were postponed, airports were closed and flights were cancelled. The Indian Premier League was suspended for one week. Electronic media, mainstream and social, crazy, point-by-point reporting, sometimes false developments. And the threat of possible nuclear exchanges, with little understanding of the consequences.

Once a ceasefire was announced between the two countries, most Indians were deceived. Prime Minister Narendra Modi responded to the attacks with technical and tactical capabilities. Patriotism and nationalism have always been at the highest level in history.

Pakistan was taught a lesson. Terrorism and terrorists have been curbed, but are there any?

Until next time?

In some ways, unfortunately, the choice of “Sindoor Action” is unfortunate. In Hinduism, red vermilion symbolizes fertility, love and prosperity. It is also believed to protect the family. According to legend, Lord Shiva’s wife, Parvati, wore a vermilion, a symbol of piety and affection for her husband. None of these can be related to war, revenge, hatred or hatred.

I have been to Pakistan many times and have been welcomed by love and care. Local Pakistan wanted to take pictures with me in the park and a child asked for my autograph.

In the famous Anarkali bazaar, the shop owner offers Lassi, Chaat and Sweets. When the taxi drivers find out I’m from India, they won’t take money from me. Should we hate these people?

The prospect of war or war is a terrible thing. Zen Buddhism Vietnamese monk and spiritual leader Han Han said: “The government needs enemies to assemble people. If they don’t have real enemies, they will invent a mobilization that mobilizes us. We may think that peace is without war, if the great nations can lower weapons, but we may be afraid of weapons.

When can we face these demons on our own?
