“I’m an addict, I’m going…”

Anurag Kashyap shared that he produced the 2007 animated film Hanuman to connect with his daughter Aaliyah Kashyap.

Anurag Kashyap is known for producing highly acclaimed films such as Wasseypur, Gulaal and the ugly gang, and is closely linked to film editor Aarti Bajaj in 1997 with marriage. The couple welcomed their daughter Aaliyah in 2001, but their marriage did not last long because their marriage lasted for a long time.
The filmmaker recently held a master class at the Annapurna College of Film and Media, where he also shared some of his personal experiences. In the same event, Anurag mentioned how he filmed the 2007 animated film “Return” for his daughter Aaliyah after he was unable to meet with her for a year after he was separated from his first wife.
Kashyap said: “I also had a brief alcoholism when I was dealing with a lot of things in this industry. I was an addict and I went to the Deaddiction Center and since then I discovered new details about the writing process I was at the time. I was separated at the time and I didn’t know my daughter for a year. Connection with her daughter.
The Mumbai Velvet Director also talked about his first few days when he shared in Bollywood: “When I came to the film industry, it was largely under the control of the family. A lot of people came to the film industry and they couldn’t get in, but I did. I did. There was no threat, I didn’t raise any threats. I didn’t pay back, except for the chance. I had no threat to anyone, I was allowed to hang out, and during these three years of work, without credit, and only three meals a day, I learned more than anyone could teach.”
After the first marriage failed, Anurag Kashyap married actress Kalki Koechlin in 2011. The two met in the scenes of the 2009 romantic drama Devd, which also marked her agent debut. However, they announced their separation in 2013 and divorced in 2015. Kalki is now married to Guy Hershberg, who shares her daughter Sappho.
