China’s foreign minister told Danish Foreign Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen in Beijing on Monday that China “fully” respects Denmark’s sovereignty and territorial integrity on the Greenland issue.
China hopes Denmark will “continue to support China’s legitimate position on China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” Wang said a few days after Taiwan’s former Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen visited Columbia, and Wang said a few days later.
Wang said that the two sides had a “broad consensus” on upholding multilateralism and defending free trade, adding that China is willing to strengthen dialogue and cooperation with the EU.
