The foundation of the Samajwadi Party based on casteism, app: Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak launched a fresh salvo at the Samawadi Party (SP) on Monday (19 May 2025), accusing the party of “born “DNA for Muslims enjoyment”, which is bread and butter for Akhilesh Yadav’s entire politics.

Mr. Patak’s remarks were posted in an offensive post allegedly targeting him, which was posted on the official X handle of the Samawadi Party. Mr Yadav said on Sunday (18 May 2025) that he had assured his people that this would not happen again and hoped that Mr Patak would have to stop making statements that triggered it. SP also mentioned the news clippings of Mr Pathak’s reference to “Samajwadi Party’s DNA.”

Mr. Patak said in a lengthy post about X in Hindi: “Akhilesh Yadav ji, you’re very angry about the problem of DNA. I said there is a problem in the DNA of the Samajwadi party and you have lost your temper, just like you lost your power 10 years ago, you should stand out in DNA.

“The problem in DNA means that the foundation of your party’s politics is based on caste and app kisses, and it’s still the case. The Samajwadi party has never talked about Sabka Saath-Sath-Sath-Sabka Vikas. Your priority has always been voting banking politics, you have nothing to do with policy and ideals,” Mr Pathak said.

He said his attack was swift, saying that Muslim prodigality has always been a central part of SP politics and any political scientist can guarantee it. “He will explain to you that your party is out of Muslim appropriation DNA, which is bread and butter for your whole politics,” he said.

“Whether it’s educational policy, appointment or legal and order issues, your government has repeatedly ignored other members of society to please a particular class. This deepens the division and distrust of society. As Chief Minister, you withdraw 14 cases related to terrorists about your signature so that your Muslim romance DNA will suffer in this case. Why am I so annoyed,” Mr. Patak said.

Deputy CM Pathak also accused the SP of being opposed to the Dalits and claimed that during the Samawadi Party rule, the Dalits’ rights were repeatedly seen crushed, politically marginalized, and the injustice against them increased.

“It reflects not only administrative failure, but a deep political way of thinking,” he said. “When we say something is wrong with the DNA of Samajwadi Party, we just mean that this party believes that split power will split. He also filmed Pot Shots in SP’s media cell.

“There’s another thing, no matter who runs the Twitter handle of you and your party, no matter who sends you statements in big paragraphs, is so childish that he makes you admit that these people turn these people into socialism of great leaders like JP, Lohia and Rajnarayan, turning it into dirty, depraved and polluted abuse, your own people.”

“You have written yourself that you will understand them at the party level. Are you in doubt, doubting that your party has bad DNA?” he said. He said Mr. Yadav should change the DNA of the political party. Otherwise, from today until 2027, even after that, his party’s DNA will continue to bother him. He said: “Who will you continue to abuse? Then clean your face and don’t fight with a mirror.”
