Citroen appoints Xavier Chardon as CEO Koskas to leave the company

The brand’s owner Stelantis said on Monday that Citroen has appointed Xavier Chardon as the new CEO.
The French-Italian owners of Jeep and Peugeot brands are choosing who will lead it in one of the industry’s most turbulent times after its former CEO Carlos Tavares made a sudden start in sales and profitable sales.
Chardon served as managing director of French Brands at Citroen between 1994 and 2012 before joining Volkswagen Group, where he served as head of sales in Europe and for the past four years.
The group added that he will take over Citroen’s top job starting June 2 and will report to Stanlandis’s chief operating officer Jean-Philippe Imparato.
A spokesman for the organization said his predecessor, Thierry Koskas, will leave the brand and he will leave Stellantis.
