Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan’s film “Strong, Moving” deserves the National Award

Akshay Kumar’s Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh, directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, is based on the book that shocked the Empire by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat. The film will be released in theaters on April 18.

Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film is proving to be historic, especially with the first reviews coming in. Kesari Chapter 2, starring Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan, and Ananya Panday in lead roles, is a historical courtroom drama film, based on the life of C. Sankaran Nair who fight against the British Empire in the aftermath of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. A special screening of the film was held in Delhi on Tuesday, after which Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, called Kesari Chapter 2 a “powerful and dynamic” to “the martyrs of the Indian Freedom Movement and Jallianwala Bagh”.

Delhi CM Rekha Gupta also praised the film and the amazing cast on her account on X (formerly Twitter). “The Kesari Chapter 2 movie introduces patriotism, courage and sacrifice in a very influential and emotional way. Each scene is filled with pride and inspiration. To Shri @akshaykumar, Shri @Actormadhavan and the entire team of #Kesarichapter2 shri @akshaykumar, Shri @actormadhavan.

Rahul Sharma, husband of Asin Thottumkal, Akshay Kumar’s former co-star, also wrote on X: “We all read about jallianwala bagh in history books, but nothing can prepare for your truth because of the truth I witnessed in the special screening of #kesari2 today. I won my deepest performance in a brief manner. @Actormadhavan.

British Oil and Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri also reviewed the film and praised Akshay Kumar for his performance in it. “Kesari Chapter 2 is a powerful, moving, evocative film ode to the Indian Freedom Movement and the martyrs of Jallianwala Bagh. This fascinating narrative brings you into the middle of the courtroom, where Akshay Kumar articles, the character of Attorney C,” he wrote. ”

Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh, directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, is based on the book that shocked the Empire by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat. The film will be released in theaters on April 18. Produced by Cape by Dharma Productions, Leo Media Collective and Good Films, Kesari Chapter 2 is a Spiritual Sequel to Kesari (2019).
