India seems to be “groups, not UNBlock” itself in the public sphere, and Rajya Sabha Sabha MP Kapil Sibal said he has made a formal structure for the opposition coalition to represent its views with the spokesperson.

In an interview ptiMr Sibar said the Indian parties need to develop cohesive policies, ideological frameworks and future plans.

Asked about the recent run in the Indian National rally poll, if it is bad optics, independent Rajya Sabha MP said: “I think (India) should seem to be a group in the public domain way, not Un-Bloc itself.”

“They (Indian political parties) need to develop cohesion policies, a cohesion ideological framework and future cohesion plans,” he said.

“I’m not talking about the national level or the national level, the way I have to think about its importance to the state must be cohesive. pti.

Regarding whether the group should have a formal political structure, Mr. Sibar said he had been hitting the ball for a long time.

“Obviously, it’s not something delicious for someone or another, or they think it’s not the right time, but I can’t talk on behalf of the group,” he said.

However, Mr. Sibar is confident in the future of the opposition.

The former congressional leader added: “I see the future of the opposition, the form it takes, what structure it needs, we will see.”

The opposition party’s Indian National Development Inclusion Alliance (India) gathered together before the Lok Sabha elections to fight against the National Democratic Alliance in the centre led by the BJP.

Members of the Indian group, especially the Parliament and AAP, participated in sharp exchanges and barbs of transactions, especially in the Delhi Parliament poll. Several political commentators say the Indian group lacks cohesion after the Lok Sabha poll and wins elections in Haryana, Maharashtra and Delhi.

Asked about the WAQF (Amendment) bill that could be proposed at the ongoing budget meeting and the opposition’s choice, Sibar said it must be seen what NDA alliance partners are willing to do on this issue because the BJP has no majority.

He said: “Let’s see what their position is. Bihar has elections. I think if they introduce the bill, they may be worried about what impact the election process in Bihar may have.”

“So I don’t know what that would be. So let’s wait and see. If the bill passes, those who want to challenge it have a choice.”

On the issue of controversial demarcation, Sibar said that this has a very serious impact on the country’s political system, which is why Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin convened a meeting and many delegates, including those of the Congress.

“This has had an impact on the future of our polity, but anyway, the demarcation will not happen unless a new census is conducted. We did not conduct a new census because it was not completed in 2021 either. First there is the census, then the demarcation.

Mr. Sibal, who served as the Minister of Trade Unions during the UPA 1 and UPA 2 governments, resigned from Congress in May 2022 and was elected as Rajya Sabha as an independent member with the support of the Samajwadi Party.
