Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu pays tribute to the constitution of the 18-member committee to oversee AIDS control in Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Health, Family Welfare and Medical Education to form a 18-member council to oversee the state’s control of HIV/AIDS.
The proposal comes from Minister of Health, Family Welfare and Medical Education Y. Satya Kumar Yadav, who noted that the Council with members from different sectors would help strengthen ongoing efforts to control HIV/AIDS.
The new Council and the Chief Secretary as chaired will better implement the process through regular monitoring and evaluation of results, resource mobilization, and policy decisions to better implement the AIDS control programme through inter-internal coordination and encourage community participation.
According to official release, the Council’s goal is to recruit 100% of HIV (PLHIV), most people at risk (MARP), children affected by AIDS (CABA) (CABA) and ensure appropriate preventive prevention and post-disease treatment options, in addition to inclusion in various social protection programs.
The Council must implement AIDS control measures in the state through regular review meetings.
The committee includes the special chief secretary, principal secretary and secretary in various departments including health, schooling, higher education, women and child development, Panachayati Raj and rural development, municipal administration and urban development, youth affairs, tourism, agriculture, agriculture, agriculture, transportation, transportation, roads and buildings.
The affected people, representatives of civil society organizations and non-governmental organizations will also be part of the Council. The Director of the National AIDS Control Association of Andhra Pradesh will become a member of London.
