Andhra Pradesh has partnered with Creativeland Asia to establish the country's first intermedia entertainment city in the state

The Andhra Pradesh government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Creativeland Asia (CLA) to conceptualize and operate India’s first trans entertainment city in the state “Creatorland”.
Creatorland will have immersive theme parks, gaming areas, global cinema joint production areas, and it will also help drive job creation, skills development, tourism and digital innovation.
A statement on Saturday (May 3, 2025) said the partnership was announced at the Waves summit in Mumbai from May 1 to 4,,,,, In 2025, it was unveiled by Prime Minister Narender Modi. Tourism and Culture Minister Kandula Durgesh said that working with Creativeland Asia is an exciting milestone in an effort to open up the film and entertainment tourism industry. “This MoU is not just an infrastructure project, it is a commitment to create an enlightening ecosystem for talent, innovation and tourism,” he said. He added that Creatsorland will not only promote the recreational economy, but can also transform the visitor experience through theme parks, immersive regions and global production hubs. “Together, we aim to set new benchmarks in digital entertainment and connect with industries and consumers in more meaningful ways,” he said.
Mr. Kurup says Fatherom Creatorland’s immersive storytelling experience of AI-led blends technology with culture and global talent with Indian imagination. “This is a collective step for us to put India on the global map created by entertainment infrastructure and IP,” he said.
Ms Amrapali said the project reflects the state’s forward-looking commitment to promoting tourism through innovation.
