Anyone who supports Pakistan is treason

Bangalore: According to reports, a man in Mangaluru shouted “Zindabad Pakistan”, which led to a lynching on Monday, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said: “Anyone who agrees with Pakistan (on the soil) is not only wrong, but treason.”

On April 28, a man identified as Ashraf, a resident of Wyanard, Kerala, allegedly the victim of the Mangaluru lynching incident, allegedly raised the slogan “Pro-Pakistan” in cricket. Later, his body was found near a temple in Kudupu, about 10 kilometers from the city of Mangaluru. Ashraf works in Mangaluru

The Chief Minister told reporters in Bangalore: “If the pro-Pakistan slogan shout is true, it is wrong. The lynching incident in Mangaluru is being investigated and action will be initiated based on the report on the wrong person. As of now, the first information report (FIR) has been submitted against the defendant.

In Bangalore, Family Minister Dr. G. Parameshwar said during the interrogation, the defendant told police about the Pro-Pakistan slogan, shouting that 20 people were arrested and that the police were checking their background.

An investigation is underway. The Home Secretary said police are collecting details about the mob that gathered in the cricket field lynched in Mangaluru, and it has not yet been determined whether the slogan is shouting for support of Pakistan.
