B.C. Minister Ponnan calls for solidarity to get 42% of B.C. bookings

Thanks to backclass welfare minister Ponnam Prabhakar to all those who support the bill, which aims to increase retention rates for backclass (BCS) to 42%. He also dismissed concerns about the 50% booking cap, saying the central government provided a way to pass the 103rd constitutional amendment in 2019. He added that the amendment allows for the reservation of the weaker portion of the economy (EWS) that exceeds the 50% limit. Telangana Congress passed the Telangana Conference on Monday, March 17 to adopt the Telangana Less than the Telangana Less than the Telangana Less than the Telangana Less than the Telangana Less than the local institutions in rural and urban areas.

He pointed out at the congress on Monday that Tamil Nadu successfully implemented 68% of bookings through the 76th Constitution Amendment, setting a precedent.

The Minister also assured that due to the dedicated committee and the BC committee, legal barriers do not hinder the implementation of the bill to ensure a structured and factual approach. He detailed the survey to determine the BC representatives was extensive, with one enumerator allocated to every 150 households.

Mr Prabakar said he expressed confidence in the success of the bill in Parliament, saying Langanban would contact the central government through a proposal supported by the investigation. He urged all political parties to unite.

He called for collective action and urged all political parties to go to Delhi in a unified manner to ensure the passage of the bill. He said it was happy that the Chief Minister had led the movement and stressed that the legislation should serve as a model for the country.
