KSRTC cancels order for respiratory analyzer test

Kerala Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) revoked a revised order to its respiratory analyzer test, and employees checked their alcohol content in their bodies in light of the so-called abuse by some.

The company recently issued an order to modify its respiratory analyzer testing procedures and its TK Shibeesh, one of its drivers from Kozhikode, took the allovirus before reporting on duty and tested positive for alcohol on March 30. The new guide says that if after 20 minutes, if their initial results are positive, then positive can be performed after 20 minutes. This is reported that respiratory analyzers can bring positive results to people with certain drugs. Such workers can only be deployed if retest negative test negative.

However, in a new order issued on April 7, the executive director (warned) KSRTC said some staff members have been “abuse the provisions in the new order” and could “affect the company’s reputation.” In this case, the revised order will be withdrawn, officials added.

Following the complaint from KSRTC, KSRTC began performing breath analyzer tests for its employees, some of whom are allegedly performing their duties under the influence of alcohol. The company demands strict disciplinary action against convicted, including suspension of services. Mr Shibeesh, a native of the Malayaman in the region, was asked to conduct detailed tests before the Medical Board and the KSRTC’s vigilant group and at the headquarters of the state capital. However, his claim is considered valid. Alcohol content is found in some Ayurvedic and homeopathic drugs. Doctors say these are not dangerous and advised patients to go to the respiratory analyzer test after taking such medications.
