Bill Gates talks about “early retirement” and the future with Nikhil Kamath

Bill Gates, a tech billionaire and Microsoft co-founder, played a podcast with Nikhil Kamath, co-founder of Zerodha, talking about the future of artificial intelligence (AI), which will allow people to retire in a timely and in a timely manner because they don’t have to go to work.

Gates shared his thinking process that in an AI world, retiring at age 40 is not as radical as the form of the method, but not having to work is different from early retirement.

“I don’t have to work; I chose to work because it’s fun. I spent more holidays than I did when I was a kid, but I’m basically still working full-time,” said Bill Gates. Bill Gates shared his choice of working at 69.

The billionaire also said his expectations for the future of artificial intelligence from the world and how it will change things for humanity.

AI layoffs

Bill Gates also talked about the human future of artificial intelligence (AI) and robots, which will replace workers’ demand for job shortages.

In the podcast, the billionaire highlights how AI will change in 20 years to meet the world’s white-collar and blue-collar job needs.

“Assuming that from now on, artificial intelligence will change enough that this pure capitalist framework may not explain much, because AI is all white-collar type of job, and, like blue-collar workers, robots will get some good hands and be able to do what humans do,” said Bill Gates from the podcast.

In discussing AI, Bill Gates also pointed out that after artificial intelligence, the world will not encounter a shortage of doctors, teachers, or even factory workers.

“These shortages will not exist. So, this is a very profound change that can free up a lot of time,” Gates told Camas.

Gates stressed that people can retire early in their careers and work for a few shorter weeks after AI changes the ecosystem. It may be necessary for people to rethink their choices of spending time in this world.

“You can retire early, and it almost takes a philosophical rethink, okay, how should you spend time? Because we don’t need it to make enough food, make enough widgets and medical diagnosis, we’re going to create free intelligence.”
