“I will only start my race season in July, probably one of the European or Indian Opens.

“I’m not focusing on the Asian Championships this time, my goal is to prepare for the World Championships (September 13-21 in Tokyo).

Sreeshankar – ranked second in the world long jump performance of 8.41 million in early 2023, so it will miss the National Federal Senior Championship (known earlier as the Federal Cup), which began on Monday at the stadium in Maharaja.

This meeting will be the selection trial of the Asian Championship next month.

“I will go to Qatar next week for a final round of consultations with the doctors there. On the way back, I may go to the stadium.”
