Come on in Kashmir before Amit Shah’s visit

Srinagar: Security in Kashmir was strengthened on Monday before the arrival of the coalition’s interior minister Amit Shah later that day, officials said here.
Shah, currently in Jamu, is visiting union territory for a two-day period to review security measures.
He plans to visit the house of Humayun Muzammil Bhat, the late police officer in Humhama, and then head to Rajbhawan for the night.
The vice-principal of police officer Bhat is one of four security officers who died while fighting terrorists in 2023. The encounter took place on September 13 in the dense forests surrounding the village of Gadool in the Anantnag region of southern South Kashmir.
Shah will review the security in Kashmir in a meeting with top security forces and police on Tuesday.
He will also review ongoing development projects at another meeting.
