A group of people forced into the MP, Thrash Priest

DEWAS (MP): Police said a group of people forced their way into the famous Mata Tekri Temple in Duvas city in Madhya Pradesh.

Opposition Congress claims BJP MLA’s son is part of the group, but police have not confirmed the allegation.

Jitu Raghuvanshi, who had a criminal record in the past, arrived at the temple in eight to 10 vehicles with the others Friday night, according to a complaint filed by the priests’ Kotwali police station here.

The panel members allegedly asked the pastor to open the door and when he refused, he was allegedly abused and beaten, New York City Policeman Dinesh Agrawal told reporters Saturday.

He said they were registered and videos of about 50 CCTV cameras were checked.

Asked if the BJP leader’s son leads the group, Agraval told reporters that the case is under investigation.

Some videos on social media show several cars with red beacons in the fleet reached the foot of the mountaintop temple.

Duvas City Council President Manoj Rajani said some BJP MLAs should keep an eye on his son “though it was Sanatani, his son did it.
