DGP emphasizes the need for advanced approaches to conduct effective crime detection

Hyderabad: Dr. Polcie Jitender’s Director-General stressed the need to adopt advanced approaches under Crime and Crime Tracking Networks and Systems (CCTN) to improve the efficiency of crime discovery and crime tracking. The DGP highlighted the importance of active use of the system by senior officials, thus setting an example for field level personnel when speaking in video conferences with regional SPS and commissioners. He also reviewed the implementation of the CCTNS project.
DGP stressed the need to widely adopt digital functions such as E-Summons and E-Sakshya, and said that the large amount of data and information generated through CCTN has proven to be very useful for police work.

Three online marketing forged products
Hyderabad: City Cybercops arrests Nikhil, Mohit Sharma and Sonu Kumar of Delhi to market fake products online. Cybercrime DCP Dara Kavitha said the three created 19 fake lists on the website. 30,000 sanitary napkins seized from Kushaiguda factory in BIS-HYD raid
Hyderabad: Bureau of Standards of India (BIS)-Hyderabad searched 30,000 sanitary napkins at a factory sales office in Kushaiguda in Medchal-Malkajgiri area and seized more than 7,000 napkins without mandatory BIS certification and ISI Mark.
Bis-Hyderabad Director and Head PV Srikanth said the products belong to 5405:2019 and are authorized by the Center through a Quality Control Order to ensure women’s health, hygiene and safety. “The lack of standard compliance not only violates the law, but also creates serious concerns about the health and safety of women,” Srikanth said.
