“Drone pakoras”: Army veterans bring “new snacks” to plate amid tensions in India-Pakistan

Pakistan has been using various types of drones, such as Kamikaze and armed drones (driverless cars) to try to violate Indian airspace. However, Indian troops managed to effectively block these attacks.
Kamikaze drone, also known as suicide drones, explode or self-destruct after hitting a bomb.
From the evening of May 8 to 9, Pakistan launched a drone attack across the western border, targeting military areas. Wing Commander Vyomika Singh said at a press conference that drone activity was noted at 36 locations, from Leh to Sir Creek. About 300 to 400 drones are involved.
Singh added that Indian troops used physical and electronic methods to shoot down many such drones. While drone-shaped snacks can tickle bones (and your taste buds), real drones that cross Indian territory are serious business. Indian troops also issued a warning on Saturday that Pakistan’s drone game is not only a military threat, but also endangering civilians and religious places. “Our troops are watching. Don’t test our patience or radar systems,” the Defense Department told PTI.
