The arrested person was allegedly involved in the murder of a noisy flake.
Eight people were arrested by Rein Bazar police near a theater in Santosh Nagar on Tuesday (April 15) for alleged murder of a noisy liar Mohammed Masiuddin Alias Masi Masi in a premeditated knife attack.
The defendant was identified as Mohammed Pasha Jeelani, 42, Mohd Omer Khan, 29, Mohammed Arif Khan, 40, Mohammed ghouse uddin, sajji sajji sajji, 36, 36, Abubakar alias Abbu, 28, all residents of Hyderabad. According to police, the murders stemmed from personal resentment and threats exchanged during Ramzan month.
The 27-year-old victim, Masiuddin, is a noisy Sheerter under the Falaknuma police station and has conducted several cases against him. He was known locally as “Masi Don”, and has a reputation for extortion and was previously detained in the Preventive Detention Act of 2020.
Police said when tensions escalated on March 23, Masi allegedly approached Mohd Omer Khan, one of the defendants, who sold watermelons in Dabeerpura and asked Rs 20,000 to allow him to continue his business. When Omer refused, Massi reportedly threatened him, causing a physical dispute.
The defendant invoked Masi’s ongoing threat and decided to kill him before the wedding. For three days, the team monitored his movements. On the evening of April 13, the group attacked him after confirming his presence near a medical store in Dabeerpura. Masiuddin was detained and beaten by some defendants, while others stabbed him, died on the spot and informed police.
After the murder, the defendant reportedly fled the scene. The arrested were familiar through personal and local connections, some of whom were involved in the criminal activities in advance. Mohammed Pasha Jeelani, considered a key conspirator, is a textile businessman and close friend of Mohd Omer Khan and Mohammed Arif Khan. Pasha Jeelani was previously involved in a human crime case at the Rein Bazar Police Station in 2024. Tabrez’s murder case in an attempted murder of Domalguda Police; Ibrahim was involved in the murder case at Chaderghat Police and had a noisy sheet for him. Investigators say Pasha Jeelani is a common link between the team.
Two days later, their gang was arrested and police grabbed four knives from a cemetery in Daberbra. Police also seized four two-wheeled cell phones and five cell phones for crime execution.
The defendant was remanded in judicial custody. Further investigation is underway.
