Encroachment of public land to be removed: Hydraa Specialist

Hyderabad: Hydraa Commissioner Av Ranganath warned that any obstacles or encroachment must be removed immediately, especially in layouts and residential areas. Otherwise, Hydraa will step in and clear them.
Ranganath said Hydraa is paying close attention to the situation. He said land such as parks, schools, hospitals, libraries and community halls are only used for these purposes. Anyone who captures the land will face strict action.
On Monday, Prajavani received 52 complaints related to Hydraa. Many of them are about illegal buildings, walls of isolation roads and encroachment of government land. Some say that land robbers are taking over land for public use using fake plot numbers.
Ranganath ordered officials to investigate the issues immediately and remove any illegal structures. Some citizens also complain that even if nearby houses still exist, they were still denied building permits near the lake due to full tank-class rules. The FTL marking process will be completed soon, the commissioner said.
Some complaints received include in Bowrampet (Medchal-Malkajgiri), a former public representative allegedly built a hotel on government land in 25 Guntas and embezzled 36 Guntas in another survey number. Another complaint states that in Ferozguda, Balanagar, Madhavinagar, has taken over Park Land in Madhavinagar. Even after the court orders, construction continues. Locals urge Hydra to purchase a 300-square-foot park development.
Complaints were also received from Shamirpet Mandal and Rajendranagar. A resident in the area near Saroornagar Lake said his plot was surrounded by houses but he was not allowed to build due to FTL rules. In Raviryal (Pedda Cheruvu), several people say that their conspiracy was flooded due to the rise in water levels.
