Injunctions imposed in Nagpur

The right-wing agency burned a community’s holy book amid excitement from the right-wing agency to remove the tomb of Orlandsb, causing the case of six people and three police officers injured.
Between 10:30 pm and 11:30 pm, another conflict occurred in the Hansapuri area near Old Bandara Road. An unruly mob burned several vehicles, homes and a clinic in the area caused damage.
Sharad Gupta (50) was a resident of the Hansapuri area and his four two-wheelers were parked in front of his home and burned down, saying the mob was between 10.30 and 11.30, throwing stones and throwing vehicles.
Gupta was injured in the attack and said the mob also destroyed neighbor’s shops. He added that police arrived in an hour.
Angry residents called for immediate action against the mob. A PTI correspondent found a couple locked their house and left a safer place around 1.20 a.m.
Another resident, Chandrakant Kawde, worked in Ramnavami Shobha Yatra, said the mob burned all his decorative items and threw stones at the house.
Some residents came out in their gallery and watched a group of police officers led by senior officers walk into the driveway.
A resident in the Hansapuri area talked to PTI that the mob came to their homes around 10:30 p.m. to park their vehicles outside the house and the fire broke out when they burned the vehicles and property.
“Before the fire brigade arrived, we released water from the first floor of the house to put out the fire,” she said.
Another resident, Vansh Kawle, said the mob had covered their faces and broke CCTV cameras. They also try to break into their homes.
A resident who had a tea stall in front of the clinic said the mob entered the clinic (Bandu Clinic), broke all tables and medicines, and destroyed the clinic and tea stall.
Officials said police have deployed in the Hansapuri area.
