Gajularamam 15 acres of government land cleared

Hyderabad: Hydraa was seized by Katedan's roads at KL University on Tuesday and reclaimed 15 acres of government land in Gajularamaam. On this land, the university encroached on 0.5 acres of government land.

Authorities said the government allocated the land to Rajeev Swagruha housing scheme in 2009. Since no construction occurred, local leaders flocked to the land, installed their own fences and sheds, and occupied the land.

After local residents complained to Hydraa, authorities investigated and determined that the land had been occupied. Hydraa Commissioner Av Ranganath also inspected the land, after which he directed the authorities to remove the encroachment and propose a government fence.

In Katedan, Hydraa took down a road blocked by a wall and encroached on it. Authorities removed the wall and connected Madhuranagar to Indira Society Colony. Officials removed walls and commercial sheds that prohibit colonial residents from moving on the roads in the presence of local police.
