Cody Rhodes solves his daughter’s “focus”
At first, Cody Rhodes didn’t think he would have such a conversation with his daughter Liberty Iris Runnels at such a young age.
” …but we did it because I left the ring in the elimination room … (and) everyone’s Travis Scott left a big mark on my face and my ears were broken.”
He noted that his children had “a lot of concerns” about it.
Rhodes said he had told her he was in a career, “I pretended to be a superhero and I was playing with my friends.” Although he doesn’t know if this is the best strategy, Chodes said it has worked for him and we’ll see “we’ll see” in the future.
Cody Rhodes’ personal life
Cody has been married to retired wrestler Brandi Rhodes for more than a decade. He is the son of the late wrestler Dusty Rhodes and half-brother of wrestler Dustin Rhodes.
Cody and Brandi welcomed their first child, the Statue of Liberty, in Atlanta in June 2021.
At the time, Cody issued a statement and said she had arrived “on time.” He said the Rhodes were in love with the little girl, adding that “inadequate gratitude is an understatement.”
Rhodes said in January that his father changed “everything”, while noting that wrestling was a “selfish” career for him.
But Rhodes later added that “to some extent” he wanted to be a father. He looks forward to providing his daughter with the “best life”.
Meanwhile, the match between Cody Rhodes and John Cena won the 2025 Elimination Tournament 2025 earlier this year. After the game, Rhodes appeared in the field to congratulate Cena, who was soon after being rocked.
When Rhodes refused to join his team, Senna seemed to embrace Rhodes first and later defeated the undisputed WWE champion. It is said to be the first time Cena has turned her heels and lashed out at his fans for abuse of him in the past few years.
