Has Kashmir obsessed with radical Islam stopped Pakistan’s space program launched before India? Abdus Salam leaves

After Islamabad became the fourth Asian country to launch its space agency, Islamabad lost its momentum and now has nowhere to go. On the other hand, the Indian Space Research Organization has come a long way from rocket cones on bicycles and satellites in bull markets.

Abdus Salam and Suparco's Rahbar-1

Although Pakistan launched the space program eight years before India established the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Council (Suparco) in 1961, it was soon lost. After Islamabad became the fourth Asian country to launch its space agency, Islamabad lost its momentum and now has nowhere to go. On the other hand, the Indian Space Research Organization has come a long way to carry satellites in the bull market from rocket cones on bicycles and satellites on bull markets in order to successfully send its orbiters to Mars and satellites to study the sun.

Pakistan Space Agency before Suparco!

With the start of the US-USSR space race, Washington made a sound rocket to Suparco, which helped Pakistan understand the functions of the upper atmosphere and could know how the airflow moves across the top of the atmosphere. Professor Abdus Salam, who later won the Nobel Prize, was the main guiding force behind Pakistan's space research. Professor Salam served as advisor to President Ayub Khan at the time and founded Suparco. Suprarco was founded on September 16, 1961, and launched its first satellite, Rahbar-1 in June 1962. It all happened before ISRO was born.

Nobel Prize winner Abdus Samad withdrew from Pakistan

The launch of Rahbar-1 makes India uncomfortable because of the coexistence of developments in space and military technology. New Delhi is frustrated that Islamabad can use the same technology in the development of missiles and other weapons. However, Pakistani Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto quickly succumbed to radical Islam and declared Ahmadis as a non-Muslim, bringing great disrespect and embarrassment to Professor Salam who left Pakistan. With his departure, Islamabad suffered a huge setback.

Suparco becomes redundant

Second, Pakistan, obsessed with Kashmir and extreme anti-India, quickly decided to focus on defense research and neglect space technology. Suparco also lost his way as Pakistani generals played a leadership role in the organization and scientists were demoted to off-field. Suparco has no achievements to boast about, and it is not a successful launch because it is messy.

Pakistan has not yet developed indigenous satellites

Pakistan cannot develop indigenous satellite launch and production technologies. If all goes well, it will have its first launch facility in 2040, which will also be with the help of China. The famous announcement of then-Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto can understand the key to the matter. He said: “We (Pakistan) will eat grass and even be hungry, but we will get our own (atomic bomb)…we have no choice!”

Pakistan proved his point. Pakistan has nuclear bombs, its economy is in trouble, people fight for Atta, while the International Monetary Fund refuses bail. Forget about space research and missions to Mars, ISRO has achieved success.
