Hydraa clears road encroachment and restores access to seven colonies in Injapur

Residents of seven colonies in the village of Injapur in Langdidi District took a breath on Saturday (April 19) as the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (Hydraa) cleared illegal embankments that hindered important roads.
The operation was carried out in the Sri Rangapuram colony, which established embankments on a main 45-foot road that cuts access to the other six colonies. According to local complaints received by Hydraa, a man named Govind Das not only encroached on part of the layout, but also blocked the 45-foot access to connect the area to Sagar Highway. In addition, he was accused of occupying 25 feet of internal roads, seriously affecting residents’ daily movements.
Locals claimed that the individual had been influencing officials from various departments and to openly oppose the encroachment of existing court orders. After field validation, HydraA eliminated all obstacles and restored the channels of affected colonies.
The agency said the road cleaning has reconnected Apple Avenue, Sri Lan Plum Colony, Senat Colony, Sandalaya Colony, Sri Sri Nivasa Colony, Indiramma Colony 1 and Indiramma Colony 2.
