Popular Pakistani actress Hania Aamir is known for her outstanding performances in Urdu shows and films, including Janaan, Parde Mein Rehne Do, Mere Humsafar and Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum among others. Hania, the most popular Pakistani celebrity on Instagram, will debut in Indian cinemas with the Punjabi comedy movie Sardar Ji 3, which is also starring Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru bajwa, and will be released in theaters on June 27. On the stage, their photos are all the rage on social media.
However, after the Pahargam terrorist attack killed 26 innocent people, the Federation of Western Film Employees of India (FWICE) has redefined the ban on Pakistani artists and their films in India. Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor-starrer-starrer romantic drama Abir Gulaal will be released on May 9 and will be reportedly not released in India. According to the latest reports, Hania Aamir will be replaced in Sardaar ji 3. With Diljit Dosanjh-Starrer already completing the shooting in the UK last month, the manufacturer is now considering removing parts of Hania from the film and replacing her with another actress. This means that the third film in the Punjabi comedy “Sadar Ji” series may also be postponed. The manufacturer has no official statement yet.
Earlier, Hania expressed her hopes to meet Shah Rukh Khan and work with Karan Johar. The actress said during an event in Toronto in 2024: “Shaaruk, if you see this, see me. At an event in London in February 2025, when Hanya was asked if she would accept a offer from Karan Johar working in a Bollywood movie, she said: “If it’s a good project, I’ll definitely consider it.”
