In the heart of Hindi, opposition and political parties in the ruling coalition celebrated with equal enthusiasm the decision of the coalition government to decide the number of caste times the inter-census was conducted, each side pulling the page away from history, using itself as the original supporter of the idea.

Tejashwi Yadav calls it an “ideological victory.” Meanwhile, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar praised the decision, while Lok Janshakti Party (Ramvilas) leader and trade union minister Chirag Paswan said the government had neutralized the opposition in the move.

“Once the socialist idea that is fired or ridiculed is finally adopted by mainstream political forces,” said Lalu Prasad Yadav, head of RJD, in a long article on X Hindi. “The proposals made by our socialists 30 years ago – whether it is reservation, caste census, equality, brotherly, secularism – it takes decades for others to follow. But there is still a long way to go. But, no doubt – we will continue to make these sanghis dance to our agenda. He wrote: “However, the NDA government has put this move on the shelves under Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He said during his tenure at UPA, he resumed demand in 2011 with SP leader Mulayam Singh Yadav, and then JD (U) leader Sharad Yadav, until the government guaranteed a socio-economic investigation.

Mr. Laru also stressed that India’s first caste-based survey was successfully conducted in Bihar Mahagathbandhan The government added in its 17-month rule that the momentum of caste enumeration has always come from regional socialist forces. Tejashwi Yadav, his son and opposition leader at Bihar Parliamentary Assembly, said that the reserved and extremely backward classes of OBC must now be introduced in the state parliament and parliament, so it must be taken to the next level.

In Uttar Pradesh, the BJP government suffered the biggest loss in the Lok Sabha poll, Akhilesh Yadav, chairman of the Samajwadi Party, and the decision was the result of “collective pressure”. At the same time, he also warned the government not to manipulate the caste census. “Only an honest census can ensure that every caste receives its due share and right proportional to the population,” he said.

Meanwhile, Bihar’s allies were excited about the decision. “The central government’s decision to conduct a caste census is commendable,” said Nitish Kumar, president of Bihar CM and JD (U). “Pursuing a caste census will help identify different segments of the population, which will promote its elevation and development plans. This will accelerate the development of the country.”

Chirag Paswan said the only weapon to neutralize the opposition in the declared government. Mr Paswan asked: “Those who claim credibility should ask themselves why they did not take a similar step when they were in power. Three family members from the Gandhi family led the country. In Bihar, Lalu Prasad Yadav was in power with his wife for 15 years, and then they did not take this step?”
