India – Pakistan Tension: Five educational institutions in Chamu area will be closed on May 9

On Thursday, on Thursday, May 9, in five districts of Jamu and Kashmir, tensions continue on the India-Pakistan border, all schools, colleges and private and government-run educational institutions will continue to end. The directive was announced by the Departmental Commissioner of Chamu and applies to the areas of Chamu, Samba, Katua, Rajuri and Bonn. On May 7, India retaliated against Operation Sindoor in response to Pakistan’s 22 Pahalgam attack. Since then, Islamabad has carried out heavy shelling along the control line, which has resulted in the lives of 16 people.
“In view of the general circumstances, all schools, colleges and educational institutions (private and government) in the Chamu, Samba River, Katua, Rajuri and Pornchi areas will also be closed tomorrow on May 9,” said Department Commissioner, Chamu (Jammu) on X (formerly Twitter).
