The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday (March 16, 2025) sought a Congressional response to the goal behind the Telangana administration, which involves foreign experts to analyze the “sensitive” data of the state’s caste survey, noting that the move has raised serious doubts about motivation.

“Foreign power”
“First, you stand with foreign media, not Indian media; then, you are with foreign institutions that want to weaken Indian economy. Then, in the election, you seem to be trying to intervene with “invisible” and “suspicious” foreign forces… Before each parliamentary meeting, you will highlight the questions raised by one foreign entity or another, BJP spokesman and MP Sudhanshu Trivedi said, asking Congress that it hopes to achieve the sensitive progress of Congress through a sensitive progress.
Mr Trividy asked if Congress did not trust Indian experts. “Don’t Telangana have economic experts?” he wondered.
The state government has been kidnapped by French economist Thomas Piketty, part of an 11-person committee to analyze caste survey data. BJP leaders say Mr Pickettie’s model has attracted serious criticism abroad and his tax advice may be detrimental to salaried and middle-class.
Sold out: BJP
BJP leader GVL Narasimha Rao said in another statement: “The Congress has always had a basic belief – India is not good enough. Not enough to control itself, defend itself, or even think for itself. Today, they prove this again by outsourcing our sensitive caste demographics to foreigners.”
“What happens when foreigners distort our data to fit in a globalist narrative? What narratives will they make about India’s social structure? Who benefits from it? Congress has always hated everything about India – our institutions, our innovation, our wisdom, and even our identities. They sold India before, and they did it again,” he said.
