Indiramma Houses Launched in Rama Navami: Ponguleti

Harman: Tax Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy announced Friday that sanctions on Indiramma homes will begin in Sri Rama Navami on April 6.
The plan will promote four phases of housing construction, with beneficiaries (already owned the land) receiving funds through green channels to ensure timely spending. Each beneficiary plans to receive a new home of Rs 5 lakh.
In related developments, Minister Srinivas Reddy warned Millers not to reduce rice fields under the pretext of peeling. He warned that any difference, even just 500 grams, would lead to strict legal action, including filing cases that could lead to imprisonment.
Srinivas Reddy addressed concerns about the state’s finances, reaffirming the commitment of the Congressional government to fulfill its poll commitment, even though the promise posed a financial challenge in loans generated by the previous BRS government. He noted that it was for welfare programs and services for these loans.
In addition, the minister announced that a bonus of Rs 500 will be paid to farmers during the current Yasangi crop season. He recalls that during the monsoon season, similar bonuses have been attributed to farmers’ bank accounts.
Srinivas Reddy also highlighted the beautiful rice supply program recently launched at Ugadi for cardholders. The recipient expressed satisfaction and pointed out that the quality of the rice matched the quality of the high-quality brand.
The minister ended his speech, stressing that welfare measures (such as free power of domestic contacts (up to 200 units), free travel for women on TGSRTC buses, a 500 rupees LPG cylinder supplement, and a good rice plan – are greatly reducing the financial burden of poor families and bringing wider economic growth to poor families.
Earlier in the day, Minister Srinivas Reddy laid the foundation for the 33/11 kV substation in Ananthanagar in Nelakonapally Mandal.
