Senior advocate KK Venugopal, who appeared in Kerala along with defense lawyer CK Sasi, mentioned the verdict made by Justice Pardiwala in Tamil Nadu this morning. Mr Venugopal filed a Kerala case involving the “unfortunate” incident where the state’s governor sat on seven bills, which lasted for more than 33 months.

The Kerala petition has appeared on the CJI bench. Chief Justice Khanna suggested an adjournment, indicating that he was retired in mid-May.
Mr Venugopal said the judgment in the Tamil Nadu case fully covers the governor of Kerala.

CJI listed the case on May 13, probably before another bench. Despite Mr. Venugopal’s repeated pleas, CJI did not designate before J. Pardiwala.
