Analysis of RCB and PBKS teams
On the surface, RCB teams may find reassurance as they fight the GT and DC first, allowing their spinners to take advantage of the favorable diet-free scenario. However, Chahal recently showed off his skills with a four-goal shot against the Kolkata Cavaliers, and despite the recent batting struggle, Maxwell will remain in place outside the influence of the game conditions.
Chahal is particularly good at controlling length rather than relying on extraordinary delivery. He often lures batsmen, stimulates the ball, and forces them to extend the big ball, which often leads to the outfield being caught. Additionally, he cleverly changed his pace, so if the batsmen were going to hit the six, they would put in extra effort.
Maxwell took a similar approach, emphasizing higher accuracy than rotation or drop. The Australian has had success with the right-handed cricketers in white cricket, which could put Punjab in the face of an RCB roster composed primarily of right-handed.
On the other hand, RCB’s spin Arsenal includes Krunal Pandya and Suyash Sharma, providing the home team with their own chance to fight back. Meanwhile, the Punjab squad has quick choices of competence in Arshdeep Singh and Marco Jansen, although they may not meet the praises of Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar on the RCB side.
