Young people arrive in the mango orchard in Shamshabad

A 26-year-old software engineer was allegedly electrocuted when he pulled out a mango in a farmland in Peddashapur, Shamshabad on Wednesday afternoon.
The deceased, Karri Chetan Reddy, a resident of Ibrahimpatnam, accompanied his wife, Routhu Bindu, to the Bhaskar Law College in Monabad, where she was taking the exam. After the exam, the couple returned home in a two-wheeler and decided to stop near the mango orchard and pull out some mangoes.
According to police, Chetan Reddy entered the orchard and accidentally contacted the exposed transformer located near the compound wall. He was electrocuted and died on the spot. His wife filed a complaint at the Shamshabad Police Department. A case was booked and the body was transferred to Ottomania General Hospital for a body examination.
Further investigation is underway.
