Experienced actor filmmaker Manoj Kumar breathed his last one on Friday, April 4 at the age of 87. Born in Harikrishan Goswami (now Pakistan) in 1937, Kumar became an iconic figure in Indian cinemas, especially in the 1960s and 1970s. The actor is affectionately known as Bharat Kumar for his iconic roles in patriotic films such as Upkar, Purab Aur Paschim and Shaheed.
Manoj Kumar is considered one of the greatest actors in Hindi films and he also provides his guidance for two of the largest Hindi blockbusters – Kranti and Roti Kapada Aur Makaan. The actor won the fourth highest civilian award in 1992 Padma Shri and the 2015 Dada Sahib Palk Award in the field of Indian films.
Although Manoj Kumar is one of the most outstanding names in Indian films, he knows nothing about his private life. The actor-directed love story begins when he was in Delhi when he met his future wife, Shashi Goswami. Her family disagrees with their relationship, but Manoj and Shashi end up being tied with each year.
The couple has two children, their eldest son is Vishal Goswami and their youngest son is Kunal Goswami. Both Vishal and Kunal tried their luck at Hindi Cinema but failed to replicate their father’s success. Kunal made his debut as a child artist in Kranti, before playing Ghungroo’s first leadership role. He even starred in Kalakaar opposite Sridevi, with the hit song Neele Neele Ambar Par being portrayed as him. Over an 18-year career, Kunal has starred in ten movies, all of which have failed at the box office. He eventually left the show and started a catering business in Delhi with his wife, Ritu Goswami.
Vishal Goswami, on the other hand, was first a play singer for Ricky and Kalyug Aur Ramayan, and then became the production manager for the clerk directed by his father. Vishal should debut in the movie Bhagat Singh-Shaheed. Manoj Kumar earlier made the Freedom Warrior immortal on the big screen of his 1965 hot Shaheed.
Vishal’s debut film was released in 2001 by producer and director Kewal Kashyap, and three different films of Bhagat Singh were filmed during the same period and released in 2002 – Sonu Sood’s Shaheed-e-Azam, Bobby Deol, Bobby Deol, March 23, 1931: Shaheed and Ajay Devgn’s The Beledne neyhagat of Bhagat neh neh neh n haheed and Ajay devgn. He eventually left the movie.
Vishal and Pria Goswami are kids, and the couple have two children, Vaansh Goswami and Muskaan Goswami. Vaansh is an actor who has appeared in movies and OTT shows such as Bhuj: India, Fareb and Special Ops Pride. Muskaan is a wealthy entrepreneur who has established a luxury candle brand called Olani with her husband Nikhil Ohri.
