53 Afghan children entering Pakistan illegally sent back: Officials

An official said 53 children who entered Pakistan illegally had been sent back to Afghanistan. The official said the children had cut off the border fence and entered the country to find jobs. He said they were handed over to Afghan authorities on Sunday.
He said officials posted the return of Afghan children at the Thorham border crossing.
The official said incidents of Afghan children trying to cross the border illegally are increasing, with about 700 such attempts per day.
