Vikas Channa has trained many Bollywood celebrities, but he became the focus of attention when he helped Anant Ambani and Nita Ambani on a weight loss journey.

Vikas Channa has no less than any Bollywood superstar. Celebrity fitness experts have handled body image once. When he was a child, he was bullied for being too thin.

Channa once wrote in his blog, sharing his vulnerability: “The teasing I once heard frequently in my childhood made me wonder if I could only overcome it one day because it was also a very powerful trigger when I focused on my daily activities.

After enduring all the trolling, bullying and ridicule, Channa decides to stop everything and take charge of his life. He further shared the beginning of his ambitious journey, “I can no longer stand my work and focus on developing my body structure to look better because it’s me too enthusiastic to go to any degree. Because I had to afford a standard, well-equipped gym, I had to pay for 5 years in local sports. Social managers, sometimes even at odd hours late at night, but my physical condition has barely improved due to the lack of proper guidance, skills and adequate nutrition.

Before finding his true appeal, he worked on several jobs, including housekeeping and safety. Over time, he realized the importance of fitness and began to go to the gym. This is the beginning of his new journey.

In 1994, he officially started bodybuilding, and after years of dedication and training, he earned the title of Mr. Mumbai Gold Medalist in 2008. In the following years, he won several titles, including Mr. Mumbai Silver Medalist (twice), Mr. Maharashtra Silver Medalist (twice), Mr. Jogeshwari Championship of Champions, Mr. Girgaon Championship of Champions, Kamgar Shree Championship of Champions, RM BHAT College Champion and many others.


Today, he has become one of India’s most successful celebrity fitness coaches. According to several reports, he charged Rs 1.5 lakh (about Rs 12,500) for 12 training courses. Other reports show that he charges Rs 3.5 lakh to Rs 5 lakh for individual training courses conducted at clients’ homes.
