In a video shared on Instagram, Bunty Mahajan, who runs the popular Mumbai bakery Deliciae, has launched her “luxury work” for Ambanis.
The six-layer cake draws inspiration from Vantara, an animal conservation and rehabilitation center established by the Reliance Foundation in Gujarat Jamnagar.
The cake features golden statues of various animals, including elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes and crocodiles. The middle layer of the cake has relief M and N, referring to the abbreviation of Ambanis.
“Happy anniversary, dear Nita and Mukesh,” a sign read on the cake.
Mahajan revealed in the clip that the cake weighs more than 30 kg, adding that she has received a lot of praise from Ambanis for her culinary creations.
Nita and Mukesh Ambani got married on March 8, 1985.
Mukesh, chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries, is the richest person in Asia and one of the richest people in the world. NITA is responsible for the Reliance Foundation, a charity company. She also oversees Dhirubhai Ambani International School, one of the world’s highest-ranked schools.
