Harshita is the eldest son of Arvind Kejriwal and Sunita Kejriwal and the only daughter. Her younger brother Pulkit Kejriwal is currently a student at IIT Delhi.
Harshita Kejriwal, daughter of former Delhi chief minister and AAM AADMI party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal, married her university friend Sambhav Jain on Friday, April 18. The wedding ceremony was held at Kapurthala House in Delhi, where he was formally resided in the Chief Minister of Punjab.
Harshita and Sambhav met during their time at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and they were both studying. Harshita is engaged in chemical engineering and graduated in 2018. After graduating from college, she worked as an associate consultant at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) on Gurugram. Sambhav Jain is a project management consultant for a private company. The couple also co-founded a startup called Basil Health.
Their engagement was earlier held at the five-star hotel Shangri-La Eros in Delhi. The wedding was attended by a small group of guests, including Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, AAP Minister Gopal Rai and Bollywood singer Mika Singh.
Harshita is the eldest son of Arvind Kejriwal and Sunita Kejriwal and the only daughter. Her younger brother Pulkit Kejriwal is currently a student at IIT Delhi.
The wedding is reportedly expected to be held on April 20.
Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta digs in Arvind Kejriwal for holding an engagement in a five-star hotel. “The truth comes out before the people of Delhi. This is a positive signal that Delhi is beginning to understand,” she said.
The wedding marks a happy moment for the Kejriwal family as Harshita begins a new chapter in her life with Sambhav Jain.
