Hyderabad:The Central Alliance of Telangana Non-Robbery Officers (TNGOS) organized a giant blood donation camp at the city’s Gruhakalpa complex to mark the anniversary of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule on Friday, Dr. BR Ambedkar was born on April 14 on April 14.
The event was led by TNGOS leaders Maram Jagdeeshwar and Dr. Sm Hussaini (Mujeeb). The initiative engages government employees from various departments enthusiastically, and they gather together to donate blood is an act of social solidarity.
Parliament President Gaddam Prasad Kumar praised the initiative, noting: “Dr Ambedkar’s life is committed to enhancing the establishment of a marginalized and just society. This camp reflects his sympathy and service spirit.”
The camp was conducted in collaboration with MNJ Hospital, Osmania General Hospital (OGH), KOTI KOTI, Institute of Preventive Medicine (IPM), and Thalassemia & Sickle Cell Society Blood Bank. The medical team ensures thorough health checks, safe blood collection and proper dedication after care.
The Tgos union said the donated blood will be provided to patients in need to ensure the legacy of Mahatma Phule and Dr. Ambedkar continues to inspire collective efforts to benefit society.
