Minister Rajan said

Revenue Minister K. Rajan said that organizing a large job fair was just the first step to a broader task to ensure employment for all. Speaking here on Saturday, he said that regional job fairs will soon be held across the state, providing opportunities for all registered candidates, plus the necessary skills training.
The large-scale work fair is scheduled to be held on April 26.
Higher Education Minister R. Bindu said the initiative aims to bridge the skills gap between education and employment. “Vijnana Kerala and its regional mission, Vijnana Thrissur, are a key step in achieving the creation of 2 million jobs by the state government,” she added. She noted that various government agencies are working together to make this vision a reality. The newly launched four-year degree program will now include credit-based skills courses that help graduates confidently enter the job market.
The last date for registration for the Giant Expo is April 23. Applicants can apply for work until April 25. The venue for the large-scale event held in Thrissur will be the School of Government Engineering and Vimala College. 455 job categories from 132 companies offer up to 35,000 job opportunities.
Starting April 21, volunteers led by elected representatives will conduct door-to-door visits and register camps to guide job seekers. Interview time and other details will be shared in advance through the designated workstation.
Special Bus
To assist candidates, a special KSRTC bus will run from Sakthan Thampuran Bus Stand and KSRTC Stand to the Work Expo venue. Local autonomous agencies have been granted the right to use funds to secure transportation facilities. A dedicated call center will also raise the question of candidates.
Special recruitment for Bay Opportunities is planned for the third week of May, with online job fairs held every Saturday at Thrissur Engineering College for select companies.
