TN’s team participated in China Weifen’s Kite Festival

A team from Tamil Nadu participated in 42^ND Weifang International Kite Festival will be held from April 18 to 20, 2025.

The event is considered to be the world’s prestigious Kite Festival, held in Weifen, Shandong Province, China, which is famous for its “Kite Capital of the World”.

Supported by the Tamil Nadu Tourism Bureau, the team of the state, Skimters of the Global Media Box, demonstrated a giant inflatable Jallikattu Bull Kite, symbolizing the power, pride and tradition of the state’s iconic movement. A vibrant kite with “Vazhga Tamil’ (Tamil) (Tamil) also contains Tamil.

Weifang International Kite Festival, now 42^ND The version is a tradition in spring. The festival is held on the birthplace of kites, a vibrant fusion of tradition, art and global unity, which is the joy of flying through kites.

After participation, it will be held at the Tamil Nadu International Kite Festival 2025, which will be held in Mamallapuram in May, and the Tamil Nadu International Kite Festival will be held in Mamallapuram, a coastal heritage town known for its ancient coastal temples and scenic views.
