TN’s team participated in China Weifen’s Kite Festival

A team from Tamil Nadu participated in 42ND Weifang International Kite Festival will be held from April 18 to 20, 2025.

The event is considered to be the world’s prestigious Kite Festival, held in Weifen, Shandong Province, China, which is famous for its “Kite Capital of the World”.

Supported by the Tamil Nadu Tourism Bureau, the team of the state, Skimters of the Global Media Box, demonstrated a giant inflatable Jallikattu Bull Kite, symbolizing the power, pride and tradition of the state’s iconic movement. A vibrant kite with “Vazhga Tamil’ (Tamil) (Tamil) also contains Tamil.
