Anant Ambani once revealed that Radhika Merchant once complained that he devoted his 15 hours of his day to work.
Every relationship requires effort, especially when a partner’s work schedule is demanding. Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s youngest son, Anant Ambani, once spoke publicly about his wife, Radhika Merchant’s long-term reaction to his commitment to his professionalism.
In an interview with CNBC TV18, Anant revealed that Radhika once complained that he had little time besides work. At the time, he was deeply involved in his passion project in Jamnagar and spent hours every day relying on his responsibilities. He shared: “I give Vantara about an hour or a half a day, where we do animal rescue. I devoted my father the rest of the time and it took about 14 hours a day.”
Even if the schedule seems overwhelming, Anant says Jamnagar feels like his home. He tried to spend the weekends and holidays as much as possible. However, Radhika did not fully board the first place. “Radika complains a lot…but Radika loves it now,” he said with a smile, adding that her feelings gradually changed.
Over time, Radhika’s complaints turned into curiosity and eventually became active participation. “Now she wants to come and take care of animals more than I do. Radhika is a great support. She is involved, too.” Anant said, apparently appreciating her willingness to understand and share his passion.
