The behavior is gender neutral. Many women are not aware of forums where complaints can be filed, such as internal committees and local committees, where their complaints, including those against the head of the agency. She added that the bill also contains provisions to prevent women from making false allegations.
Officials from Ernakulam, Thrissur, Alappuzha and Kottayam districts attended the meeting. A total of 31 complaints were resolved at the public hearing chaired by Ms. Rahatkar.
