Hyderabad: The South District Task Force, together with the Mahakali Police Department, broke the online cricket betting racket, arrested four people and confiscated Rs 92.121 crore from the ownership rate.
The defendant’s subbook has been identified as Godela Sandeep Kumar, Ranigunj, S. Abhishek Kumar, S. Abhishek Kumar of Goshamahal, Vinay Singh of Mangalhat, formerly the collector boys, and P. Yashwanth Gupta. Additional DCP (Tao Team) Ande Srinivasa Rao said the main books were identified as ADEM in New Delhi.
The defendant was found to be in an online betting activity at a house in Ranigunj. During the interrogation, they revealed that they used multiple websites to bet online, running under ADEM’s instructions. Srinivasa Rao informed that the login ID and password have been issued to the bettors to participate in the opportunity mentioned by officials who made illegal money.
