Pahalgam investigation reveals ‘communication node’ with terrorists in Pakistani planners

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs told the parliamentary committee that the initial investigation into the Pahalgam terrorist attack showed that the terrorists’ “communication nodes” were associated with their “Pakistan planners”. The ministry said in a speech that the “footprints and tracks” of the attack resemble previous attacks on the resistance front, adding that the terrorist group was just another name for the designated terrorist outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (Let).

It said Pakistan’s track record as a terrorist reserve has been well established, rooted in solid facts and evidence.

The ministry also said Pakistan killed certain people in India, who were sentenced to trial and within the scope of neighbouring countries, even if its allegations were not true or evidence.
It said in its speech that this was to propose false equivalents between the two countries to show that both neighbors were victims of cross-border terrorism, which was not the case.

The ministry said in a foreign committee led by MP Shashi Tharoor, the ministry said unspecified terrorists roam freely in Pakistan and continued to incite violence against India.

Indian armed forces conducted missile strikes in nine terrorist targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK) earlier on May 7, including Jaish-e-Mohammad storthold in Bahawalpur and Muridk base in Lashkar-eee-Taiba. The strike was carried out under Operation Sindoor two weeks after the execution style of 26 civilians and Pahalgam of Kashmir killed 26 civilians. According to the Indian military, more than 100 terrorists were eliminated in Operation Sindor, including graceful targets such as Yusuf Hazard, Abdul Malik Lauf and Mudashir Ahmed.

After four days of fierce cross-border drone and missile strikes, India and Pakistan reached a deal on May 10 to stop military operations.

After the pause, the coalition government formed seven delegations, including 51 political leaders, parliamentarians and former ministers, who will travel to the world capital to address India’s determination to resolve terrorism.
