BBC Verification Debunks Fake Video

Another video clip has received over 3 million views on social media platform X. However, the discovery was actually taken from an Israeli strike on the Gaza Strip on October 13, 2023.
The BBC verification also found that the main purpose of some videos was to portray the Pakistani response as more severe than before. Such videos show that “Pakistan troops blow up the Indian brigade headquarters.” The clip showed an explosion in the dark, but it was actually from an unrelated video that circulated on YouTube last month. The video received over 600,000 views.

In another misinformation, a set of photos claimed to show an operation against the Pakistan Air Force “In the early morning of May 6, 2025”. However, the BBC verification found that the images were screenshots taken from the video game Battlefield 3.
