The judge, composed of Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra, delayed the land it revoked in 2011 from 2011 in the judgment of BJP leader BS Yediyurappa on the appeal, noting that it raised certain legal issues that had been booked by a larger bench.
The case against Yediyurappa involved allegations of corruption when he served as Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka. However, as another pending case has raised similar legal issues that have been submitted to the larger bench, the Director tagged Yediyurappa’s request. “When we were about to start working (by judgment), we realized that the coordinate bench passed another order on April 16, 2024 – Shamin Khan vs Debashish Chakrabarty and Ors – the same issue was also called the larger bench. We felt polite to ask (this is also called the same base).
